The introductory French course is mandatory for non B2 level French speakers. SPRING SEMESTER 2018-2019 18 th February 5 th July 2019 WELCOMING DAY Monday, February 11 th, 2019 WELCOMING WEEK Tuesday Friday, February 12 th - 15th, 2019 French crash course for beginners in the mornings Field trips around the city in the afternoons. The introductory French course is mandatory for non B2 level French speakers. FRENCH CLASS VISA ACCOMODATION INSURANCE Students have the possibility to follow a one semester French class given by the HEG Geneva Business School. If passed, this class can be translated into 3 ECTS. Visa and residency permit procedures depends on the nationality/residency country of the student. Arrival in Geneva Practical information HEAD Genève does not provide campus accommodation. Students must find apartments or rooms by their own means. Since the housing market is very tight in Geneva, we advise them to look for an accommodation as soon as possible. Accommodation Health and third part liability insurances are required. SEMP AND INTERNATIONAL GRANTS ERASMUS COUNTRY STUDENTS SWISS EUROPEAN MOBILITY PROGRAM SEMP Switzerland is not associated to the Erasmus+ program anymore. An interim solution, the Swiss-European Mobility Program, provides grants for both incoming mobility as well as outgoing. Erasmus country students coming from DK, FI, IS, IE, LI, LU, NO, SE, UK partner schools, will receive CHF 1 900.- for their exchange semester at HEAD Genève. Erasmus country students coming from AT, BE, BG, CY, CZ, DE, EE, EL, ES, FR, HR, HU, IT, LT, LV, MK, MT, NL, PL, PT, RO, SI, SK, TR partner schools, will receive CHF 2 200.- for their exchange semester at HEAD Genève. EXTRA-EUROPEAN COUNTRIES (NON SEMP) Students coming from developing countries may receive international mobility grants on a case-by-case basis. Students provided with such a grant would receive up to CHF 3 750.- for their exchange semester at HEAD Genève. WHERE TO FIND US?
