ALUMNI ASSOCIATION INC. March 20, 2018 Dear Lincolnites and Guests: The 76 th LUAA National Convention will convene June 6-10, 2018 in St. Louis, MO. Our host hotel is the Hilton Airport St. Louis. This year s convention will prove to be one of the best in our history. Our theme, Reclaiming Our Legacy, embodies the activities and work we have planned for you. To fully engage in and enjoy the 2018 convention, including plenary sessions, attendees must register for the convention. If one cannot participate in the full convention, there are options for day passes and ala cart ticket events. To make reservations at the host hotel, Hilton St. Louis Airport, please call Group Reservations at 1800-564-7386. The LUAA rate is $109 per night. It is our pleasure and privilege to announce this year s Distinguished Alumni Awardees and Hall of Fame inductees. They are as follows: Distinguished Alumni Awardees: Lionel Harris, Class of 1967; Robert Newton, Class of 1968; Victor Pasley, Class of 1968; and, the Hon. Rita H. Days, 1972. We would like to offer you the opportunity to take advantage of the purchasing power of our alumni and supporters. Vendor application deadline for space rental is Friday May 25, 2018. Booth/Space Specifications: Booth space a six-foot table, two chairs and two water bottles will be provided. All booths should be completely set up by: o 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 7th, 2018 in the Grand Foyer of the Airport Hilton St. Louis o Vendors are not allowed to set up prior to Thursday, June 7th, 2018 All vendors are responsible for the security of their booths and vending areas while in use. Lincoln University National Alumni Association will not be held responsible or held liable for any damage, destruction or loss of vendor property or person. Clothing and other vendors: All vendors that sell any type of paraphernalia bearing Lincoln University's name, likeness, image, logo, shield or seal, must be licensed through the official University trademark and licensing company Learfield Licensing. Vendors may obtain a license to sell Lincoln University paraphernalia by contacting: Learfield Licensing, Taylor Sandberg, Account Manager, either by phone at 319-351-1776 or email at tsandberg@learfieldlicensing.com. Vendors must be officially licensed before May 25, 2018. Please be advised that University representatives will be on sight during the convention to monitor activities and to protect the University's interests.
