The commander issues guidance on conducting tactical maneuver in an operational environment that is dynamic and complex, against a hybrid threat. All eight operational variables of PMESII-PT are present. The order from higher headquarters includes all applicable overlays and or graphics, area of operation (AO) boundaries, control measures, and criteria for subsequent tactical actions. All necessary personnel and equipment are available. The corps is task organized with necessary units and reinforced with assets from higher to accomplish assigned task. The command has communications with subordinate and adjacent units and higher headquarters. The command post and the mission command system are operational and processing information. Note: The condition statement for this task is written assuming the highest training conditions reflected on the Objective Task Evaluation Criteria Matrix required for the evaluated unit to receive a Fully trained (T) or Trained (T-) rating. However, a unit can only receive a T/T- rating if the task is executed under these conditions during an EXEVAL. Some iterations of this task should be performed in MOPP 4. Standards: The corps conducts tactical maneuver to employ forces in the operational area through movement, in combination with fires, to achieve a position of advantage with respect to the enemy, taking full advantage of terrain and combat formations. 85% of the corps leaders and 80% of Soldiers are present at training against the corps authorized strength. The corps attains 80% on performance measures, 100% on critical performance measures, and 80% on leader performance measures achieving a T- fully trained. The tactical maneuver is conducted in accordance with (IAW) FM 3-90-1, established timelines, the commander s intent, orders from higher headquarters, and standard operating procedures. Note: Leader is commander, deputy commander, commanders of assigned/attached units (divisions and brigades), chief of staff, command sergeant major, G2, G3, G4/chief of sustainment, G9/civil affairs officer, electronic warfare officer, corps engineer, aviation officer, chief of fires, air liaison officer, information operations officer, chief of protection, air and missile defense officer, provost marshal, personnel recovery officer, chemical, biological radiological, and nuclear officer, and others identified by the commander. Note: There is no standard configuration for the corps, almost every type of Army unit may be task-organized under the corps headquarters based on METT-TC and assigned task. 1) Possible organizations are: (a) Combat divisions. (b) Multinational units. (c) Brigades or smaller units with which it can directly affect the outcome of division operations. If movement is conducted under live fire conditions, see TC 4-11.46 for additional requirements. When conducting this task under live fire conditions, the command is mandated to use Enemy as one of their operational variables of PMESII-PT. LFX Standard: The above standard statement still applies. If the company sections is conducting the task under live fire conditions, the battalion conducts mission command in an operational environment while sections within subordinate companies conduct movement under live fire conditions IAW AR 350-1 and TC 4-11.46 as a Convoy Escort Team (CET). The battalion will receive CET reports from company sections while in contact with enemy forces and pass those reports to the corps headquarters. Page 2
