Where does our money come from? We believe strong, vibrant communities are built and renewed by the people living in them. Communities come in all shapes and sizes, and National Lottery funding is there for everyone. We focus on supporting charities, community groups and people with great ideas, local or national, large or small, which will create opportunities for people to improve their lives. 4

Open Programmes National Lottery Awards for All 300-10,000 8 weeks for a decision, but leave 4 months until project starts open to constituted groups with a bank account in the same name Parish & Town Councils can apply Changes to what your grant income can pay for Reaching Communities 10,000+ (max 500k) 2 stages, up to 12 months Eligibiity same as NL A4A but includes all LAs In transition. 7

Ideas that make a Difference People within your community (particularly those who benefit from your activities) are involved in the planning, delivery and running of the activities. Activity which shows a positive difference to the people within your community and is evidence based A clearly defined need that matters to people and fills a gap in provision. Demonstrates why you are best placed to deliver change and the quality of your links within your community. Clearly aligned to our funding priorities that tap into the skills and talents that exist in Torbay 9
