AMERICA S FIRST HISPANIC CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ESTABLISHED IN 1929 COMMITTED TO YOUR BUSINESS. COMMITTED TO OUR SAN ANTONIO.

Membership in the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce means unparalleled access to business advocacy, strategic events, thought leadership, and networking in the San Antonio area. I encourage you to learn about everything that the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has to offer your business. Join us today! RAMIRO A. CAVAZOS President & CEO WE RE NOT TYPICAL. BECAUSE WE WERE THE FIRST. AND BEING THE FIRST MEANS YOU MAKE THE MOLD, YOU DON T FOLLOW ONE. In 1929, the professional and academic Hispanic community of San Antonio decided to create a business institution with the aim of treating everyone as a first-class member, regardless of race or organizational size. The call to action was simple: Hispanics are here, we want to do business, we want to help our community and we want to succeed. Hence the FIRST Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in the United States of America was born. Being the first has allowed the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to create some of the most innovative programming in the country. Most recently, we have also been the first to embark on major initiatives around small business accelerators, STEM education and increasing women as political candidates, all efforts that are being sought out as best practices by other entities. We are also not typical in the value we bring to our members. Many times, the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has been the first to walk up the steps of our State or National capitols, advocating around legislation that is relevant and impactful to membership. Closer to home, we pay attention to what contracts are being awarded by City Hall and what ordinances affect our community. We also proudly help members get certified to do business with the City, County and State and we have worked to help appoint the first Latinos/as to public boards. Wanting to ensure that there is a strong pool of diverse executives for our corporate members, we also execute three of the strongest leadership development programs in the region every year. And there is more. Your investment in us means you like to break molds, too. As a result of your partnership, we perform in the top.03% of the 8,000 chambers of commerce in our country. This is proven by having the distinction of being the first Chamber of Commerce in San Antonio, and the first Hispanic Chamber in the country, to be awarded a 5-star accreditation by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. This accreditation process evaluates a chamber s finances, member services, advocacy, small business programs, economic impact, trade efforts, and leadership success, a distinction that honors the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber s commitment to helping advance the principles of free enterprise the bedrock of our great country.

OUR MISSION The San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is the leading resource, advocate, and access point for Hispanic businesses, Hispanics in business, and the Hispanic market. OUR FIVE PILLARS OF FOCUS Economic Development Spurring the growth of successful small businesses, creating a stronger educated workforce and making San Antonio a great Headquarter City for large corporations.
