ALUMNI SURVEY - WHAT DO OUR RECENT GRADS SAY ABOUT OUR PROGRAMS, ONCE GRADUATED AND IN THE FIELD? Open-ended Feedback re NAU SC and CMHC Program STRENGTHS (sample of comments) The CACREP accreditation, the professors, and the small cohort setup. It was also beneficial to have so many graduate assistantships available on campus. The classes that I consider most valuable include marriage and family systems, counseling techniques, advance techniques, and group processes. I feel the program gave me a well rounded educational experience. I feel that the clinical clients helped me grow a lot. Dr. is one of the best professors I have ever had. Their patience, understanding, knowledge of counseling and genuine care for us as her students was evident. Supervision through counseling processes, group processes, and practicum was superb. 10

ALUMNI SURVEY - WHAT DO OUR RECENT GRADS SAY ABOUT OUR PROGRAMS, ONCE GRADUATED AND IN THE FIELD? STRENGTHS (cont d) Great theory class with Dr.. I believe the program is an excellent foundation for a wide variety of jobs in the field. Loved group class and practicum, they are the most applicable parts of the program for me. Enjoyed taking tours of local agencies and having local speakers - that is very helpful in trying to get a grasp on the field. I valued the openness to learning about Native American culture and giving me opportunities to help educate from my experiences. 11
