The following health care professionals are encouraged to register with Medical Reserve Corps MRC volunteers include medical and public health professionals such as physicians, nurses, pharmacists, dentists, veterinarians, and epidemiologists. MRCIL Medical Reserve Corps of Illinois (MRCIL) -Volunteers Uniting for Better Prepared Communities- The Medical Reserve Corps of Illinois (MRCIL) was formed in 2004 as a means of sharing information between units in Illinois. Since that time our coalition has grown significantly with the addition of many more units, 73 in all. The objective of MRCIL is to bring together all of the established MRC units in the state to work together and to share valuable information on Medical Reserve Corps activities and events. To coordinate the efforts of its members to protect the lives and property in their respected area. November 2011 10
Tri-County Medical Reserve Corps The Tri-County Medical Reserve Corps represents Henderson, Mercer and Warren Counties. Tri-County MRC was formed in 2006. Volunteers are provided ongoing emergency/disaster training and emergency supplies including PPE, first aid kit, MRC t-shirt, badge and hand crank radio/flashlight. November 2011 11
