Applicants shuld nte that the new 2013 cre psychiatry curriculum has 19 ILOs, but fr the August 2014 intake the 19th ILO is nt mandatry. Applicants withut all the necessary evidence at the time f applicatin must submit a written statement frm their educatinal supervisr r tutr stating that all f these cmpetences will be achieved by the time f appintment. Any dctr wishing t practise in the UK after this date must be bth registered with and hld a licence t practise frm the GMC at time f appintment. iii Time f appintment refers t the date at which the pst cmmences, nt (necessarily) the time an ffer is accepted. Fr 2014 CT1 psts this will be between 2 August and 6 August 2014, unless a different start date is specifically indicated in advance by the emplying trust/letb. iv Selectin refers t a prcess, nt a place. It invlves a number f selectin activities which may be delivered within the unit f applicatin. v Examples might include ARCP utcme 4, r failure t prgress after tw r mre failed RITA-Es. Applicatins will nly be cnsidered if there is a letter f supprt frm the pstgraduate dean r designated deputy f the deanery in which the applicant wrked. Shuld the pstgraduate dean nt supprt the applicatin, appeal may be made t the recruitment lead, whse decisin will be final.
