Activities include, yoga, wellness walk, art, nutrition and drama. Conference will increase awareness & dispel myths about mental health linking students to resources and help introduce healthy ways to deal with their emotions while building capacity in mental health education. May 9 Student Council Elections We have our Student Council elections - 2 short assemblies (Gr. 9/10 and Gr. 11) for speeches - Period 2 - all promises approved by Principal. All Week Daily Prayer & Reflections Share Life Dress Down Lunchtime activities throughout the week Baby bottle drive in support of Birthright Staff & Student led prayer/reflection on the importance of Catholic Education. Student Council runs a week of themed dress down days with a minimum donation expected of $5 per student which is collected by homeroom teachers and given to Share Life Charities. This week has historically been a week to recognize the importance of Catholic charities and a chance for students to learn and give back. Fun student lead activities run during lunches Homeroom classes participating in activities and awareness surrounding motherhood, single parent families, teen motherhood and Church teachings.
