St. Agnes School Mailbag Newsletter for April 13, 2018 Special Notes from Mrs. Paulsell: Carline: First, I want to apologize about the last few days in morning carline. The carline was closed at 7:55am instead of 8am by the safety patrol. We have looked at the issue with cars arriving so close to the 8am cut-off so we are going to make a modification starting Monday. When the school bell rings at 8am, cones will be set up creating a new drop off point at the edge of the middle median. This should alleviate the stress of cars needing to back up while students are exiting cars. Safety patrol will continue to open doors for students and parents can then exit out the parking lot entrance. Please be mindful of our safety patrol with cones/flags in hand. St. Agnes Summer Camps: Registration is open Please complete ASAP as I am really wanting to get supplies ordered and plans made Information is attached to the mailbag. The Well of Life is a food pantry located in the center city of Springfield, Missouri serving those in need since 2004. We are a ministry of Center City Christian Outreach; a collaborative of churches with the mission, inspired by the Gospel, to provide food to those in the center city. And, when resources allow we provide utility assistance, emergency transportation support and referral services. The center city has one of the highest rates of poverty in the Springfield area. During a typical day we will see individuals from 19 households seeking assistance. About Center City Christian Outreach The member churches are Christ Episcopal Church, First and Calvary Presbyterian Church, First Baptist Church of Springfield, Grace United Methodist Church, South Street Christian Church, St. Agnes Cathedral, Wesley Downtown and Westminster Presbyterian Church. We are structured as a 501(c) 3, non-profit organization. For more information contact Keith Nanneman: SAgolfTournament@gmail.com Your participation and/or sponsorship of this event will enable us to make a positive impact and continue our work in the local community.
