Dear Sorors of the Dynamic Southern Region! As we move toward the Cluster Cycle of this new biennium, we cordially invite each of you to the 2017 State Cluster and Mock Convention. We are ready to Empower, Embrace and Engage the Sorors of our dynamic region. The vision is one that includes all sorors, collegiate and alumnae, all having a vital role in advancing the sisterhood. Roles that will empower, embrace, engage and enhance each collegiate and alumnae chapter. Empower members and chapters to better serve our communities. Embrace collegiate and alumnae members Engage you in advancing the region The Regional Leadership Team and host chapters are preparing for an informative and enriching Mock Convention and sessions with enjoyable opportunities for sisterly fellowship and fun. Each state will be sending general information, along with the online registration link and instructions for registrants in the State Call to Cluster and Mock Convention. Registration fees are $85.00 for alumnae and $70.00 for collegiate members. Each registrant must submit a completed on-line registration form and funds to their local chapter for final submittal. A chapter registration form should be completed identifying all participating members and a chapter check, cashier check, or money order must be submitted for the total registration fee to the host chapter. There will be NO ON-SITE registration. We look forward to seeing you at the 2017 State of Florida and the Bahamas Cluster and Mock Convention. Cluster Registration Instructions (An online registration form must be completed for each attending soror. Also indicate Delta Dear status.) Sorors use the online portal to complete your individual registration. Please follow the instructions below closely: 1. Click on the following link or copy and paste the link into your web browser: https://form.jotform.com/dsrdst/2017-florida-bahamas-cluster The deadline for registration is Monday, March 16, 2017 There will be NO ON-SITE registration. 2. Click on the appropriate state registration link. 3. Before clicking submit, print two copies of your completed registration form: (1) to be submitted to your chapter when you submit payment and (2) for your personal records. 4. After pressing submit you will receive a confirmation email and a list of Cluster hotels and information. 5. Submit payment and a copy of the form to your chapter to confirm registration. 6. Regional Nominating: It s All About Those Tools: Having the Right Tools to Run for Office Strengthen your readiness to step up to Delta Regional Leadership. 3. Program Planning & Development (PP&D): Deltas Evolving By Taking Financial-Freedom & Reclaiming Equity & Earnings Changing our lifestyles to become debt-free and taking off the weight that keeps us heavy in debt. 4. Chapter Compliance: It's Not 24K Magic - How to Get & Stay Compliant Assisting Alumnae and Collegiate chapters with effective completion of compliance reports. 5. Finance: Fiscal Officers Training Review the fundamentals of finance "training" and "fiscal fitness." Session intended for Fiscal Officers, Audit Chairs and Advisors. 6. Risk Management: Review the New Process Learn the highlights of the new Risk Management updates. 7. Collegiate Topic: "S.T.A.R."-Girls - Sisterly Transition And Reclamation of our collegiate sorors, from the campus to the community. 8. Technology: TIC Toolkit You will receive tips and tools for using technology to bring efficiency to Delta operations, events and chapter meetings. Session intended for Technology Chairs, Presidents, Corresponding Secretaries, and website administrators. 9. Journalist/Public Relations: Impacting the Communities you serve through Publicity This workshop will uncover the tactics to creating your chapter s publicity strategy that you can immediately employ. 10. Awards & Recognitions: In It To Win It - Getting your chapter ready to Take Home The Trophy. 5

Delta s Purses Empowering Women ONE Purse at a Time ADVOCACY: Bringing Awareness to Domestic Abuse 2017 STATE OF FLORIDA AND THE BAHAMAS CLUSTER We are collecting gently used purses and filling them with personal care items, snacks and small gifts for women in Volusia County shelters.
