Welcome to OUR JUNGLE OKLAHOMA MUNICIPAL CLERKS, TREASURERS AND FINANCE OFFICIALS ASSOCIATION Wes Watkins Oklahoma State University Stillwater October 17-19, 2018 Pre-Conference, October 16, 2018 OMCTFOA

Since 1957, the Oklahoma Municipal Clerks, Treasurers and Finance Officials Association (OMCTFOA) has promoted, enhanced and encouraged the professional development and standing of clerks, treasurers and finance officials through cooperative communication, education and training. I encourage you to become a part of this organization and take part in the many educational and networking opportunities. OMCTFOA offers five (5) first time attendee scholarships for the October Fall Conference which will have the theme of Welcome to our Jungle. This year will be our 62nd Conference and we welcome the increase of new municipal clerks and treasurers across the state. The conference dates are October 17-19, and the pre-conference is October 16. We all know that at times it can get a little overwhelming, but there is help and a lot of networking among us. Throughout the year there are many local and state seminars and workshops that offer valuable information to the clerks and treasurers. OMCTFOA also offers 1 (one) scholarship to one of the National Conferences to a qualified member. All of the scholarship applications are on the website and are due by January 1 of each year. There is also the opportunity of education with our Spring Institute and Academy Sessions please note there are three (3) additional scholarships available for qualified members to these programs in Stillwater. I am honored to serve as your 2018 OMCTFOA President. We have a great board that is already planning and working on your behalf. We are here to serve you and your needs at all times. A list of the current board members will be on the website so we will be able to help answer any questions you might have concerning the conferences or a general question relating to city business. If you have any input regarding sessions or ideas you would like to see at the conference feel free to call me 405-258-3200 or email me at scarmichael@chandlerok.com As always I look forward to seeing you and hope you can attend and participate in our 2018 activities.respectfully, Stephanie Carmichael, CMC City Clerk Chandler, Oklahoma OMCTFOA Board and Conference Planning Committee Stephanie Carmichael President City Clerk, City of Chandler Janet Watts Vice President Finance Director, City of Mustang Brenda Hall Treasurer City Clerk, City of Norman Susan White Secretary City Clerk, City of Glenpool Jan Neufeld OAPT Representative Chief Financial Officer, City of Altus Cora Middleton Past President City Clerk, City of McAlester Ashley VanDeburgh Reporter City Clerk/Deputy Treasurer City of Weatherford Lindsey Grigg 1-Year Trustee City Clerk, City of El Reno Kristi Hort 2-Year Trustee City Clerk, City of Nichols Hills Camille Dowers 3-Year Trustee City Clerk, City of Newcastle Matt Boggs GFOAO Representative Assistant City Treasurer City of Oklahoma City Becca Ramsey OSU Liaison & Institute Director Program Coordinator, OSU, Stillwater Dorie Spitler OMAG Liaison OMAG Program Manager Katie Girardi OMRF Liaison Retirement Plan Administrator Kelly Danner OML Representative
