October 2016 Spartan After returning from a three game foreign tour in Rome, Paris, and London, the month of September was spent preparing for the season and giving back to the community! The team participated in our annual MSU golf outing that took place at Hawk Hollow Golf Course. It was a huge success! Special thanks to our Fast Break Club for all their hard work! The Spartan women also spent time shooting hoops with children at the annual Teddy Bear Picnic. October was filled with the Michigan State Women s Basketball team preparing for the start of the 2016-2017 season! Michigan State Madness kick started the season on October 14th. The arena was packed and energy was high as the Spartans danced to a Janet Jackson Rhythm (Spartan) Nation routine. It was a great way to bring in the new season. Practice is in full swing now as we prepare to get ready for our first game on against Northwood University on November 6th! Don t forget to sign up for the MVP Ball Club! It s not too late!
