Welcome to the Fraser Coast The Fraser Coast is sending out the most powerful message yet that it is open for business and ready to compete nationally for serious investment. Fraser Coast Regional Council has unveiled its most generous Infrastructure Incentives Policy in a decade in a bid to drive investment, development and continue its economic progress. The incentives should bring on a raft of new developments, especially for residential land which the industry needs. Investors are starting to return to the market which is a great sign. Linda Bland - Chair Real Estate Institute of Queensland Fraser Coast. The incentives are aimed squarely at attracting investment and development to the region with a focus on employment generation, residential development, rural industries, tourist parks and medical centres. Clearly we want to stimulate the economy by attracting investment and development and create jobs - both short-term in the development and construction sectors as well as in new businesses and industries. Gerard O Connell - Mayor, Fraser Coast Regional Council Overall, this announcement is about job creation, a stronger economy and delivering a thriving community. If you have a strong economy and good job prospects, it makes for a healthier community and a more affordable lifestyle. Glen Winney - President, Urban Development Institute Australia Fraser Coast frasercoastopportunities.com.au Infrastructure Incentives Scheme 3
