The ROSE PROJECT Linton s The ROSE Project Scholarships Awards for Orang Asli students in collaboration with Projek57, welcomed two award recipients on the 28th of December. They were Lia who will be pursuing her Diploma in Graphic Design and Adda who will be pursuing her Certificate in Business Studies. They successfully registered and moved into their hostel on the same day and began a new chapter for themselves and for Linton. Linton University College Signs MOU with Estream Software Sdn Bhd The year may be coming to an end, but visions of the coming years shine brightly for Linton University College as we embarked on the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Estream Software Sdn Bhd through the Faculty of Business and Accounting on the 8th of December 2017. Estream is a Malaysian-based software developer providing business processes application, namely accounting software, and payroll software, for businesses in Malaysia and around the ASEAN region. The company has 2 flagship products call SQL Account & SQL Payroll that are used by more than 150,000 companies in Malaysia. This collaboration complements our uniquely designed education pathway called P.R.I.D.E. (PRofessional Industry Driven Education). This MOU is intended to establish a basis upon which Linton and Estream may explore areas for cooperation, to initiate joint projects involving collaborative research and to share expertise and joint development of research. It is also with the intention to facilitate exchanges of ideas and facilities among the Parties, including attachment and mutual visits by staff members to pursue research, curriculum development, and to participate in seminars, conferences, workshops, etc. which are relevant to the industry and to allow industrial placements of Linton s students. Mr. Desmond Law Hoe Yan, the Managing Director of Estream Software Sdn Bhd signed the MOU with Linton, ITP,and Jati. Dr. Kamis Awang, the Vice Chancellor and CEO of Linton University College signed on behalf of Linton, while on behalf of ITP and Jati were Cik Rahiza Ranom and Puan Suhaimi Khamis, the respective CEOs of the two institutions. This auspicious event was witnessed by academicians and staff of Linton University College along with distinguished guests from Estream Software Sdn. Bhd.

STUDENT VISITS: 1. The English Language Centre visited the National Museum as part of a study tour activity for the EEP students on the 14th of December.
