CONTACT: Tamara Ledwith 203.462.4866 tledwith@firstcountybank.com FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE First County Bank Foundation Grants $39,000 to Greenwich Nonprofits STAMFORD, Conn., Nov. 9, 2015 First County Bank Foundation is pleased to announce that it recently awarded ten Greenwich-based nonprofit groups a total of $39,000 in grants to support these organizations with their mission to provide needed services in local communities. Since its inception in 2001, the First County Bank Foundation has awarded over individual grants worth over $7 million. The Foundation is proud to support these worthy charitable organizations which provide essential services to improve the lives of people in the local communities they serve, said Reyno A. Giallongo, Jr., president of First County Bank Foundation. Much can be accomplished to positively impact our local community when businesses and individuals work together to support programs that ensure basic needs such as education and housing are met. The following ten Greenwich-based nonprofit organizations received First County Bank Foundation grants in 2015: United Way of Greenwich, CT $2,500.00 General Programs Friends of Autistic People $3,500.00 Greenwich Alliance for Education Meals on Wheels of Greenwich $2,500.00 Music based autism therapy program administrator $5,000.00 Going Places with Books Provides approx. 30,000 meals per year to the homebound and elderly

First County Bank s Jack Dowling, AVP Business Banking, and Jeff Robinson, AVP Branch Manager, award Brita Darany von Regensburg, President of Friends of Autistic People, a $3,500 grant from First County Bank Foundation for their music based autism therapy clinic program.

First County Bank s Jack Dowling, AVP Business Banking, awards a $5,000 grant from First County Bank Foundation to Julie Faryniarz, Executive Director of Greenwich Alliance for Education, for their Going Places with Books program.

Alon Marom, Director of Development, Corporate & Community Giving, for Kids in Crisis, is awarded a $10,000 grant from First County Bank Foundation by Jack Dowling, AVP Business Banking at First County Bank. This grant helps fund Safe Haven for kids Shelter Program.

Jack Dowling, AVP Business Banking at First County Bank, presented Lynne Stewart, Director of Operations, Meals-on-Wheels of Greenwich, with a First County Bank Foundation $2,500 grant to help provide meals to the homebound and elderly. Meals-on-Wheels delivers approximately 30,000 meals per year.

Jeff Robinson, AVP Branch Manager, and Jack Dowling, AVP Business Banking, of First County Bank, present Nancy Coughlin, Executive Director, at Neighbor to Neighbor with a $2,500 grant from First County Bank Foundation for the supplemental food program.

David Cohen, Senior Director of Programs Membership, and Elaine Grant, Director of Development, of the YMCA of Greenwich, are presented with a First County Bank Foundation grant of $2,500 by Jack Dowling, AVP Business Banking, First County Bank. The grant will be used by the YMCA of Greenwich for their nutritious snack program which these children enjoy while learning healthy eating. To be eligible for First County Bank Foundation grants, organizations must have nonprofit tax exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code; be located in Stamford, Darien, Greenwich, New Canaan, Norwalk or Westport; have community support; address community needs; have measurable outcomes; and demonstrate fiscal and administrative responsibility. Special consideration is given to those agencies or programs benefiting low to moderate income populations.
