Jessica Wenzel CAMP ZAMA SHA EXPRESS When Typhoon Mindulle swept in Mainland Japan causing flooding, evacuations, and physical damage, Jessica jumped in to Youki Hashimoto CAMP ZAMA TACO BELL Youki Hashimoto has put in a gold star effort. When the acting food court manager was out with an injury, Youki stepped in on very Chong-hui Kim CAMP HUMPHREYS BICYCLE SHOP Ms. Kim is responsible for an increase of a whopping 132% ($18,458) in monthly sales for July and a 39% ($58,517) increase in YTD sales. They are selfless teammates who genuinely care for our customers! Susi Davisson KMCC MAIN STORE Ms. Davisson has volunteered for our contingency rapid deployment team at KMCC. Susi recently supported the full-scale Anakonda exercise in Poland, where she worked the cash register at one of our mobile field exchanges. During this exercise, a young Soldier did not have the funds to pay for his purchase. Without hesitation, Susi proceeded to pay for the Soldier s purchase out of her own pocket. Susi is a great example of FAMILY SERVING FAMILY! Amadeo Mazzillo VICENZA BURGER KING Amadeo provides great customer service every day as one of the primary cashiers. We have received many comments on Amadeo s friendliness, especially by families. He is also one of the top performers for MILITARY STAR penetration! From May 28 through July 2, Amadeo accumulated sales on MILITARY STAR of $2,905 with the highest average ticket for the month of June, $11.39! Herbert Turban GRAFENWOEHR VENDING SUPERVISOR Mr. Turban has been nothing but an asset to our office. His flexibility, ability to think outside of the box and great customer service has not gone unnoticed. Customers regularly stop us to acknowledge his helpfulness and politeness. Mr. Turban has been very helpful when it comes to asssisting the Grafenwoehr services office on all levels. Herbert has done an exceptional job at increasing our sales, income and functionality within our launderettes. YTD vending income increased by 342% and YTD expenses are 12% below last year

EASTERN REGION A big Shout Out and Congratulations go to Melody, Treva, and Julie! Your level of service to our customers, dedication to your mission, and operational excellence is TOP NOTCH, and we are lucky to have you on our team. Thank you again from all your Eastern Region partners. Melody Bruhn HANSCOM AFB MAIN STORE Melody is the MILITARY STAR card application processor extraordinaire! Her best day so far was Aug. 9, when Melody had five approved MILITARY STAR applications during her sixhour shift. She wastes no time in explaining the benefits of the MILITARY STAR card, and the current and upcoming promotions to all customers who checkout through her terminal. Melody is quick to do refresher training when asked by management. She tells all her secrets and has set the bar HIGH! From June 1 to Aug. 10, the Hanscom main store had 120 approved MILITARY STAR applications, a 76% increase compared to the previous period last year. Of the 120 applications processed, Melody had 56 approved. The impact to the Exchange is continual and priceless. The Hanscom main store is proud to call out the best of the best. Melody Bruhn, Thank you for doing your job in such an exceptional manner. Treva O Dell FORT GORDON POPEYES Since becoming Popeyes manager in December 2015, Treva has re-energized the team and improved the overall operation. Her team is responding to her leadership, and overall employee satisfaction has clearly improved. This improvement has led to an increase of speed of service. With the addition of a Boston Market to the foodcourt line-up, all concepts are below last year s sales, except for Popeyes. While Popeyes sales are down by $8,365 or 1.94% compared to last year, Treva was able to decrease personnel costs by 14.09% and increase productivity by $503. This lead to a DOR increase of $15,869 or 24.17% over last year. Popeyes YTD DOR with depreciation is $81,530 or 19.33%. In addition, Treva scored a perfect score on her first EcoSure inspection. Julie Fuentes-McVey FORT GORDON SERVICES Julie has been with Fort Gordon s Services team for two years and with the Exchange for 10 years. Her knowledge and strength in Services is to be commended. Shortterm vending is up by 26% in YTD sales and YTD income. These increases are due to Julie making accommodations for new vendors, which has produce $108,000 in added sales and $15,000 in added income. Julie has a strong connection with her vendors and has added five shortterm vendor so far this year. She continues to grow sale here at the Fort Gordon mall.

CENTRAL REGION We have a very special group of star associates this month: Robert, Shannon, and Terri, who have surpassed expectations. We are so proud of the focus and work you have put in to giving our customers the very best experience they can enjoy. You make a difference to the Exchange, and we thank you for all you do! Robert Tharp LACKLAND AFB MAIN STORE Robert has been instrumental with our customers and has made a tremendous difference in MILITARY STAR applications. During August, Lackland achieved an increase of 123% in approved MILITARY STAR applications, directly impacting the bottom line with more thtan $8,000! Robert has been instrumental in this increase.s He is constantly engaging with our basic military training customers and assists them in their transitions to their next duty stations. Well done Robert! Shannon Clark FORT HOOD TJ MILLS FOOD COURT Shannon has been assigned to Wing Zone and has made a remarkable difference in the facility. She focuses on the details in the operations. Self motivated and observant, she has the initiative to support other food concepts to ensure the best customer experience. Shannon takes time out throughout her shift doing table touches with our customers in the dining room and receives positive feedback from customers. She stands out far above her peers. Sales have increased 6% above the prior month due to her attentiveness to customer focus and operations. Thank you, Shannon! Terri Hill FORT CAMPBELL SERVICES Terri Hill has been part of Fort Campbell services team since 2006. Her extensive knowledge within services and vending operation is vital to our long- and shortterm vending and day-to-day operations. Terri maintains excellent relationships with MWR, fire marshal and other post organizations, which lead to four joint events and six Exchange events YTD. She is dedicated and passionate to serving the military customers and their family members. YTD sales up $796,276, or 8%, and DOR is up $126,264, or 10%. Hill is a truly the best asset for Fort Campbell s Exchange. Great work, Terri! WESTERN REGION Congratulations, Nichelle, Hye and Jessica! We are so proud to have you as part of the Western Region team. You embody great customer service, and that is evident in the customers reactions and shopping experiences. Keep up the great work! Nichelle Cody CANNON AFB MAIN STORE The Cannon AFB Exchange recognizes Nichelle Cody, sales associate at Customer Service. Nichelle has truly evolved into one of the best associates Cannon has ever had. She is never without her infectious smile. Nichelle is constantly Hye Koch FORT HUACHUCA GREENLY HALL Hye Koch, Greely Hall food services foreman, is recognized as she sets the bar on offering outstanding customer service at Fort Huachuca. She is focused on the customers with a ready Jessica Bellotte JB ELMENDORF NORTHERN ALASKA SERVICES Jessica s warm and friendly personality translates well with her position as the services assistant! She builds strong relationships with the concessionaires and provides them with the tools they need to ensure excellent customer service is given to all of our valuable customers. Jessica

Nichelle has also been instrumental in increasing MILITARY STAR penetration and Exchange Protection Plans. She has won or placed in the top three in both categories for in-store contests! Nichelle is certainly a customer service professional. smile for every customer and makes a point of getting to know them. Customers ask for her and look forward to the exceptional service she provides. She receives numerous great compliments for her efforts and dedication. As a result, customers are loyal to the facility and are repeat customers. Hye s endless efforts have contributed to a 16% increase in sales over last year. consistently strives to create excitement about the Exchange by continually exploring opportunities to advertise about our short-term vendors through social media. She s always sure to take advantage of every opportunity to seek out new vendors by attending local fairs, craft shows and visiting social media vendor sites. Jessica is one of the first to step up and volunteer when help is needed for Exchange events. She is a huge asset to the services team and the Exchange overall!
