FFA Scholarships Sample Application for Non-Members Created 11/2015 This is NOT a valid application. This document is to be used as a reference ONLY. No hard copy (paper) applications will be accepted. Thank you. All applicants must have an account in FFA.org to access the application. Non-members go to www.ffa.org. Click the down arrow by My FFA Registration and Login to begin. Select Start Here to register as a Community Member. Fill out the New User Registration form, then Register As Guest/Community (After creating an account, non-members will SIGN IN on the FFA homepage (www.ffa.org).

Sign Into FFA.org Sign In, then select Participate, Grants & Scholarships, then Scholarships. (Students can also go directly to FFA.org/scholarships.) Review Eligibility requirements. If qualified, continue. NOTE: All students are encouraged to read Important Notes. Notes are located under Resources on the scholarship homepage (FFA.org/scholarships). They are also available as a link in the application: Continuing moves students to the Terms & Conditions page. Students MUST accept terms and conditions to apply..
Navigating the Application Students can move through the application by selecting a link from the MENU located on the left side of the application pages. They can also move forward by selecting the Next button located at the bottom of each page. The Save and Next buttons retain information entered in the application. Clicking Next saves entered information and moves forward to the next page. Clicking Save holds information entered on that page. It does not move the application forward. NOTE: Information will not be retained if students leave a page or exit the application without selecting Save or Next.

Work Experience If no work experience, select No and click Next to move forward Students also submit a Goals Essay describing the career, educational and personal goals they would like to achieve in the next 10 years The essay field is limited to 1,000 characters (includes spaces) Students are encouraged to type their essays in a Word document, then copy and paste into application
Leadership List leadership and community involvement in available fields (maximum 8 leadership and 4 community fields)
Student Statement Students are required to submit a statement explaining why they deserve a scholarship Answers should be brief, detailed and concise NOTE: Statement field limited to 1,000 characters, including spaces Students may also complete an optional Comment field. Comments are provided to sponsors if the student is selected for a scholarship NOTE: The Comment field is limited to 500 characters, including spaces
Financial Analysis Completing the Financial Analysis page is VOLUNTARY Students who choose to disclose must complete required fields (*)

Application Review After completing the application, students will see a Review CHECK THIS INFORMATION CAREFULLY! Make changes BEFORE clicking Submit at the bottom of the page NOTE: Changes can NOT be made in the Review form select the appropriate page from the Menu list Clicking Submit locks the application. No changes can be made after submitting the application. All students must print and mail the required Signature Page by the postmark deadline to complete eligibility. Log back into FFA.org to access the Signature Page link. Students may print the Review for their records. Do not mail Review to National FFA. Applications must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. EST February 1. Signature Page is REQUIRED and must be printed, completed and mailed postmarked no later than February 8.
