Horticulture Six fold increase in horticulture production in last 12 years i.e. from 3.6 MMT in 2004 05 to a record production of 22.3 MMT in 2017 Largest producer of Citrus Fruits, Tomato, Garlic, Marigold and Aromatic & Medicinal plants 3 rd largest producer of Floriculture Logistic and Agribusiness hub established in Pawarkheda (Hoshangabad) on PPP basis Dairy Development Milk production increased form 5.50 MMT in 2005 to 13.45 MMT in 2017, making MP the 3 rd largest producer of milk Veterinary Science University established in Jabalpur in 2009 and State level Veterinary Training Institution established in Bhopal
Power Power availability increased to 18,043 MW from 4,673 MW in 03-04. Aims to take it to 23,000 MW by 2022 Power distribution companies run on commercial basis, regulated by an Independent power regulator 24*7 power supply to household consumers and 10 hours to farmlands 6,450 separate power feeders installed for uninterrupted supply for agriculture Open access facility available to HT Consumers
Renewable Energy A 750 MW Solar Power Plant in Rewa Solar Energy available at Rs. 2.97 per unit Only project in India to supply power to an Interstate Open access customer i.e. Delhi Metro 1,050 MW Agar-Shajapur-Rajgarh Solar Project will be World s largest. 400 MW power to be supplied to Indian Railways 3,187 MW Capacity installed through Renewable Sources Total investment in renewable energy received is around Rs. 69,800 crore Rewa Solar Plant Awarded World Bank President s award for Innovation Acknowledged by GoI as Model Project

Irrigation Land under assured irrigation increased from 7.5 lakh ha to 40 lakh ha 18 lakh ha land to be irrigated through Micro Irrigation Narmada water to irrigate land in Malwa region: Narmada Kshipra link project completed in 14 months in 2014 Narmada Gambhir, Narmada Kalisindh, Narmada Parvati projects under implementation Approx. 4.8 lakh ha area between Bhopal and Indore Industrial Corridor is proposed to be irrigated by Narmada link projects
Drinking Water Ensured drinking water supply of min. 40 litre/person/day in all 1,28,061 rural habitations and 55 litre/person/day in 1,06,145 (83%) rural habitations Water through Piped Water Supply Schemes provided to 1.98 crore people in rural areas Safe and filtered drinking water to fluoride affected 6600 settlements MP Jal Nigam Maryadit constituted for implementation of surface source based Multi Village Piped Water Supply Schemes 32 Multi Village Piped Water Supply Schemes, funded by NABARD/ Central/State Govts covering 1694 villages (23 lakh population), are under progress
