? ABOUT THE FUND Established in 2007, the Education Exchanges Support Foundation is the national agency responsible for programmes and activities in the field of and vocational training. To date it has administered more than 50 projects. The Foundation is financed by the European Commission and the Government of the Republic of Lithuania. MISSION STATEMENT VISION By initiating and administering the programmes and projects we actively contribute to the improvement of the system. By 2020 the Education Exchanges Support Foundation the leader in internationalisation development of the system in Lithuania. OBJECTIVES OF THE FOUNDATION To be a progressive, learning organisation which constantly seeks to improve the processes of governance and operations, while using up-todate technologies; To be socially responsible towards its environment, customers, employees, clients and the community; To be open with employees and the public; ensuring that the decisions made are transparent and clearly communicated; To have employees who are experts in their fields; To offer a high level of customer satisfaction.

All kinds of institutions kindergartens, schools, institutions of higher or otherwise related to and vocational training can take part in the projects. Representatives of various associations, business or non-governmental organisations, other structures seeking to improve their field of activities or enhance the qualification of employees can also avail of the opportunities provided by the Foundation. Programmes and projects administered by the Foundation are relevant for everyone interested in the concept of lifelong learning.

During this period, 4,284 applications for cooperation projects were received, of which 1,289 projects were financed and implemented successfully. In 2014 and 2015, 897 applications were received for individual mobility organisation projects and strategic partnership project implementation, of which 445 received financing. It is planned that in 2014 2015 more than 13,000 participants students, pupils from vocational training schools, lecturers, and specialists of adult and other fields are going to use the Erasmus+ mobility opportunities.
