We have been operating since 2008 and have a strong track record in providing free workshops and online information to thousands of high school learners and unemployed youth in rural and urban communities - focusing particularly on those who might not otherwise have access to that information. Our mission To contribute meaningfully towards skills development and work seeker support through online and mobile access to information, work and training opportunities. Funding We are funded by a combination of donor funding and advertising revenue. Partners can choose from a variety of different sponsorship or advertising options. Your support will contribute towards ensuring a sustainable FREE online and mobile career and training related service for people who are looking for information or training and career related opportunities, and access to employment. The challenge Youth unemployment is one of the most pressing socio-economic problems in South Africa today, with high rates of unemployment linked to poverty, crime, social degradation and loss of morale particularly among our young people, who represent a massive 72 percent of overall unemployment. Young South Africans are desperate for education and work-related opportunities, but still struggle to locate this info and if they do, it s typically irrelevant, out of date or out of reach for them financially, with the cost of internet cafés and transport significant barriers to opportunity access.
