CONFERENCE REGISTRATION: 1st Floor, Ballroom Foyer Registration for all attendees will begin on Tuesday, July 31 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. Attendees who registered in advance may check in at the registration desk and pick up all meeting materials, including badges, special session tickets and conference program book. On-site registration and individual ticket purchases will end at 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 2. NOTE: GUESTS are defined as Non-Nurses. A RN/LPN/LVN cannot register as a guest. Guest registration includes sessions open to the public, conference institutes and workshops, refreshment breaks, exhibits, special activities, scheduled receptions, President s Gala, and Sunday Brunch. Guests are considered FULL conference attendees. Ticket purchases are available to all interested parties and are restricted to the event indicated. WHAT TO WEAR The attire for business sessions and educational sessions is business casual. Always bring a sweater or wrap, meeting rooms can be chilly. FRIDAY, AUGUST 3: show solidarity with women and heart health by wearing a red item of clothing or a red accessory. Please wear comfortable shoes. PRE-CONFERENCE REGISTRATION TICKETING ALL members, guests, VIPS, honorees, awardees, exhibitors, speakers, sponsors, spouses and children MUST have a ticket with a table assignment to attend the Gala. CHAPTER TABLES will be designated based on the number of registered members and registered guests that have purchased tickets to the Gala by June 15, 2018. GALA TICKETS with your table number will be included in the REGISTRATION PACKET of all Conference Attendees and Registered Guests. Individually purchased tickets will also be included in the packet of the Registered Attendee. Individual ticket purchases to the President s Gala MUST be purchased by June 15, 2018 AND the NBNA Member/Guest relationship must be clearly identified at time of purchase in order to guarantee appropriate seating. Present your ticket at the door. NBNA Members and their guests will be guaranteed seating with their chapter if their registration form and payment are received in the National Office by June 15, 2018. ON-SITE REGISTRATION TICKETING (REGISTRATIONS OR TICKETS PURCHASED AFTER JUNE 15) Every attempt will be made to seat you with your chapter and accommodate your guests at the chapter table. After the June 15 deadline, seating will be assigned on a space availability basis. ON-SITE ticket sales will end at 2 pm, THURSDAY, AUGUST 2. For your convenience, a floor plan of the banquet seating will be on view prior to the day of the Gala. On the night of the Banquet, hostesses will have a list of each attendee s table assignment. There will be no refunds for individual banquet or brunch tickets after Friday, JUNE 29. There will be NO REFUND for banquet and brunch tickets that are included with your full registration. IMPORTANT INFORMATION NBNA Rules of Engagement at the NBNA Institute and Conference 1. Sessions start on time. 2. You will receive your CEU certificate upon completion of the class in its entirety and by submitting an evaluation form. The evaluation form is provided to you at the BEGINNING of the class. 3. If you arrive more than 15 minutes after the start of the sessions, you will not receive a CEU certificate. 4. If you arrive more than 15 minutes after the start of the sessions, you can receive a certificate of attendance. 5. You must stay in the room during the entire session in order to receive your CEU or certificate of attendance. 6. You cannot switch sessions. 7. You cannot receive a certificate for less than the hours scheduled. 8. If you do not get the CEU certificate on the day of the session, you will not get a certificate. You cannot come the next day to pick up your certificate. You must stay the entire time to receive CEUs. 9. The NBNA National Office does not have CEU evaluation forms or CEU certificates. Obtain them from the Cedars Sinai Department of Nursing staff who are on site at the NBNA Conference. 10. There are no CEUs for Opening Ceremony. 11. Treat NBNA staff, paid support staff, volunteers, sponsors, exhibitors and hotel staff with respect. 12. Bring your business card and resume to share with sponsors, exhibitors and speakers. 13.
