Biography The Michigan Tech Veterans Club was formed in 1968 as a social group to allow veterans of the Vietnam war to come together, support one another and host social gatherings. The club has since expanded to invite university veterans from a broad range of United States military conflicts, although the core of the group is still from the era of the Vietnam War. The group hosts a reunion every three years as a way to reconnect and share stories. The most recent reunion took place at Runeburg Hall in Dollar Bay, Michigan in the summer of 2014. The collection includes the organization's charter and constitution, meeting minutes, photographs, account books, journals, a scrapbook, and an assortment of textiles with logos, objects, and memorabilia.
