Tuesday, March 21 Graduation Booklets distributed in advisory. All forms and information is included in the packet.
Friday, March 31 Release/Agreement Form due to the Main Office required to leave school after rehearsals. This form also acknowledges your participation in the commencement.
Monday, May 1 Cap and gown orders will be distributed at a house meeting. Announcements were already delivered. If you have NOT ordered, you must go online IMMEDIATELY to order your cap and gown. www.balfour.com See Ms. Meyers in guidance with questions.
Monday, May 1 STUDENT SERVICE HOURS MUST BE COMPLETED by 3:00 p.m. See Ms. Mongold in A105 if you have questions.
Friday, May 5 Request for Extra Tickets Due -Return form to Ms. Stevens (A203). Please include the specific reasons for request and the extra number of tickets needed. You will be notified by Friday, May 19, only if your request will not be honored. Special Needs Seating & Hearing Impaired Guest Seating Requests Due - Return form to Ms. Stevens (A203). These tickets may be for person requiring services and ONE additional guest. They are IN PLACE OF other tickets.
Moments of Reflection Farewell Assembly Speeches are due to Ms. Doolan by Friday, May 5. You will be notified by Friday, May 19, if you have been chosen to speak.
Saturday, May 13 Senior Prom Baltimore Marriott Waterfront 7:30 p.m. 11:00 p.m. Ticket and School ID required.
Saturday, May 13 After Prom Party Four Seasons Sports Complex 11 p.m. 6 a.m. Free Ticket and School ID required for admission. No students will be admitted after 1 a.m. You do not need to attend the dance in order to attend the After-Prom Party.
Saturday, May 20 Senior Dinner Cruise Baltimore Inner Harbor 7:00 p.m. 10:00 p.m. Ticket and School ID required. Shoes required at all times! Transportation will be provided. Buses board approximately 5:00 p.m. and return to WHS by approximately12:00 midnight.

Monday, June 5 Senior Community Awards Ceremony 7:00 p.m. Mandatory attendance arrive at WHS by 6:30 p.m. COMMENCEMENT ATTIRE REQUIRED. ALL SENIORS MUST WEAR CAP, GOWN, PROPER DRESS, AND PROPER FOOTWEAR.
Tuesday, June 6 Mandatory graduation rehearsal at McDaniel College arrive by 10:30 a.m. to Big Baker Chapel. It is recommended that graduates wear their graduation footwear.
Westminster High School Class of 2017 Graduation Tuesday, June 6, 2017 McDaniel College 7:00 p.m. (arrive at Big Baker at 6:15 p.m. SHARP for line-up!)
Westminster High School Class of 2017 Graduation Doors will not open until 6:00 p.m. Doors will close at 6:50 p.m. for processional. Car pool as parking is limited; enter from Main Street only.
Student Obligations All assigned detentions and financial obligations must be cleared prior to the first graduation rehearsal May 31. Seniors with outstanding obligations will not be permitted to purchase senior dinner or senior prom tickets. Seniors with outstanding obligations will not be permitted to attend and/or participate in rehearsals and/or the graduation ceremony.
Appropriate Attire to Wear Under Caps and Gowns white buttoned-down dress shirt or white/light blouse dark tie (no bow ties) with buttoned-down dress shirts black dress slacks (no tan or khaki-colored trousers) black dress shoes, boots, or sandals (no dressy flip-flops are permitted) dark socks with shoes/boots OR an appropriate, non-patterned dress or skirt/blouse combination black dress shoes or sandals (no dressy flip-flops are permitted) Also: Jewelry is permissible as long as it is not worn on the gown itself. Service awards and honor pins may be worn.
