Types of projects
Types of projects
Project examples Nonprofit: Hale House Center Corporation: NYSE Euronext Project : Computer Installation & Networking "Getting these computers and then having the right volunteers to set them up and get them running has been a godsend. Those two volunteers were like two celebrities walking through the door. I was more excited to see them than if Brad Pitt or Leonardo DiCaprio walked through the door!" - Mildred, COO, Hale House
Project examples Nonprofit: Union Settlement Corporation: JPMorgan Chase Project : IT Hardware Asset Management Union Settlement had hundreds of IT assets throughout its 11 sites across NYC and needed to execute a full IT Asset Management Project. JPMorgan Chase helped Union Settlement develop an inventory tracking process and successfully tagged their IT assets across all sites. Since then, Union Settlement has been able to perform lifecycle management of their IT assets throughout the organization, allowing them to make informed purchasing & operational decisions.
Project examples Nonprofit: Mouse Corporation: New York Life Insurance Project : Mentoring Aspiring Professionals Mouse students were paired with 11 passionate New York Life mentors and went on a multi-week shadowship, gaining valuable first-hand business experience. "The bridge between education (non-profit world) and the for-profit world is so vital and can open up so many possibilities -- I was ecstatic with how The Community Corps is bridging this gap for Mouse, its students and the great professionals who want to make a difference. Krizia Sapida, MOUSE Program Manager."
Project examples Nonprofit: Palo Alto Library Foundation Corporation: Accenture Project : Salesforce Database & Design "The project made a huge difference, making us more efficient and able to reach our goal to supply furniture, computers and books for our new libraries. Even though our volunteer was far away from Palo Alto, California, he made a big impact here." - Lynn, ED, Palo Alto Library Foundation
Project examples Nonprofit: Ghetto Film School Corporation: JPMorgan Chase Project : Google Ad Words GFS needed help configuring and maximizing their Google AdWords Account to boost general awareness, direct traffic to their newly rebranded website, and increase student applications and online donations. Their pro bono expert, Jason, designed and launched three AdWords campaigns and helped train film school members on how to create and maintain future campaigns.
