PROJECT BACKGROUND We developed and began implementing the Strengthening Hospital Responses model in 2015 It is an implementation framework using project management approach Tool kit outlining model published in late 2015 & second edition available online August 2016 Since January 2016 working with Goulburn Valley, East Wimmera, Royal Children s Hospital and Western Health to implement/improve model

NEXT STEPS STAGE THREE 2016/2017 Our internal focus at the Women s includes: Expanding our training into maternity and Neonatal Services (NISC & SCN) Developing a standard FV screening tool 3 month trial of a new Family Violence Identification and Response form in ED Developing Managers training module White Ribbon accreditation Developing an evaluation framework for health services who adopt the model Informing the Royal Commission FV Recommendations
