Below is a summary of the events refer to event details or the chapter website for additional details and registration information. Our chapter is in need of volunteers for the upcoming year. reach out to me if you are interested in volunteering! Wednesday, February 25 th from 8am 11am 2 CPE breakfast meeting on Cloud Computing and other IT Hot Topicss at Air Products. There will be a one hour breakfast / social hour followed byy a presentation from Phil Schmoyer of Baker Tilly. Friday, February 27 th CAE Sessionn Invitational only. Tuesday, March 17 th from 6:00 8: :30pm Joint IIA/ACFE Student Night event at DeSales University. Networking event and 1 CPE presentation on Emotional Intelligence. Week of April 13 17 ACL Training at Air Products. 3 day Beginner course and 2 day Intermediate course. Space is limited to first 15 registrants. I know some of you would like to be more involved but aren t sure what roles are available and what the commitment is. So to help with this, we will be sending out position descriptions shortly that will give you details of the responsibilities and time commitment for the various roles. The focus will be explaining the concepts and features of the cloud and the risks associated with its use to assist with audit plan development and enterprise risk management. Speaker BIO Phil is a Senior Manager in the Philadelphia office of Baker Tilly. For over 6 years, Phil has been a member of the Risk and Internal Audit Consulting practice providing risk management, information technology and internal audit consulting services to clients in the higher education, insurance, financial services, manufacturing, distribution, technology, and healthcare sectors where he has worked with companies of all sizes; from initial start-up to in excess of $225 billion in assets. He has performed numerous projects with a specific focus on enterprise risk management, data reporting, process and operational efficiency, and regularly consults with clients to discuss compliance and control matters. In an interactive hands-on environment, you will learn fundamentals such as basic data concepts and how to work within the ACL Analytics environment, as well as integral skills such as how to conduct analysis steps and procedures and accomplish analysis objectives in ACL Analytics. You will learn the proper methodology and best practices for all five phases of the data analysis cycle (planning, importing, preparing, analyzing, and reporting). Speakers will discuss ways to implement ACL into projects, develop new applications for use, and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of ACL use.
