The AlphawoodScholarships An estimated 80 full postgraduate scholarships to be offered between 2014-15 and 2018-19, including for: MPhil / PhDs Master of Arts (History of Art and Archaeology or Religious Arts of Asia) 52 weeks Postgraduate Certificate and Diploma (Asian Art) 40 weeks Full support for English-language tuition In-course English-language support 4, 8 or 12 week English-language pre-sessional courses 1, 2 or 3 term ELAS English-language tuition
The AlphawoodScholarships Annual stipend of 16,539 (pro rata) 100% tuition fee waiver (for both English-language support and academic programmes) Travel, visa and IELTS examination costs covered Annual Study Tour to important European collections of ancient Southeast Asian artefacts Opportunity to apply for further research support through the SAAAP Academic Support Fund
Outreach and networks Forging formal links with Southeast Asian institutions Conferences, workshops and summer programmes in Southeast Asia Joint publications and academic exchanges Establishing libraries, supporting collections, communicating knowledge Participants at Trawas Summer Programme (East Java, Indonesia) in 2016. The programme resulted from a partnership between SAAAP, the Nalanda-Sriwijawa Centre, ISEAS Singapore and Ubaya University
