STIBET a. Eligibility: All degree-seeking international students enrolled in Bachelor or Master Programmes are eligible. b. Prerequisites: i. Graduation scholarship - Students have achieved good grades and the successful graduation is to be expected within one year. The Graduation scholarship can be granted for maximum six months. ii. Scholarships for students who have shown high commitment to their fellow-students, Students who have achieved good grades in addition to being particularly committed with regards to the international context at their university. The scholarship can be granted for 12 months. In exceptional cases an extension may be granted. c. Scholarship amount: Generally 300 per month at HFU. d. Duration: Generally 2 4 months at HFU. e. Application deadlines: Applications are received twice a year provided the funds are granted by the DAAD. Application deadlines are generally during the beginning of March and September. f. Schmalenbach Scholarship a. Eligibility: All degree-seeking students at academic universities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in a business-oriented master's degree programme. b. Prerequisites: The Schmalenbach Fellows are characterized by standards of competence, initiative and social responsibility. Proof of financial support neediness by submission of a BaföG opinion or a similar proof. i. The professional qualifications are measured by the existing university and school performance. ii. Additionally, some of the initiatives and responsibilities can be, for example, employees or membership in social, charitable or political institutions and organizations. iii. When equally qualified students apply for financial support, students who are more in need of the scholarship (financially) will be given priority. iv. Proof of need for financial support should be submitted in terms of a BaföG opinion or a similar proof. c. The financial support takes the form of books and/or money. In addition, the fellows must participate in the activities of Schmalenbach Society for Business Research Promotion. d. Scholarship amount: Students will receive an allowance in the amount of 500 per semester. e. Duration: The maximum duration is two years (four semesters). After one year of study progress of grantees is checked. f. Application deadlines: Deadlines for Schmalenbach scholarship are generally at the end of November. g. A. Wilhelm Klein Foundation a. Eligibility: All degree-seeking students at academic universities. b. Prerequisites: i. The course of study must either lead to a professional qualification or should be directly related to a profession. ii. Applications for the initial or first professional training would be preferred. iii. Training at foreign educational institutions will only be funded if this is of particular importance for the career advancement of the candidate. iv. Applicants should demonstrate to the foundation superior performance of the previous work or education. c. Scholarship amount: Students will normally be granted an allowance up to 500 Euros per month. d. Duration: This scholarship is granted for a maximum of one calendar year or for a shorter total duration of a training programme. It is usually provided for the time within which the training programme is (semester / trimester) usually carried out and completed. e. Application deadlines: Applications are accepted for the summer semester until the mid of February and for the winter semester until the mid of July. f. KAAD Scholarship Programme 1 a. Eligibility: For the scholarship programme 1 of KAAD you can apply if you: i. Come from a developing or emerging country in Africa, Asia, the Middle East or Latin America and are currently living there. ii. Have a university degree and professional experience from your home country. iii. Want to acquire a master's degree or a PhD at a German university or do a post-doctoral research project (2-6 months for established university lecturers) at a German university. iv. Are a Catholic Christian (or in general belong to a Christian denomination). Candidates from other religions can apply if they are proposed by Catholic partners and can prove their commitment to interreligious dialogue. v. Possess German language skills before starting the studies (KAAD can provide a language course of max. 6 months in Germany). vi. Applications from other countries can be considered only in exceptional cases. b. Prerequisites: i. Above-average performance in studies and research. ii. The orientation of your studies or research towards permanent reintegration in your home region (otherwise the scholarship is turned into a loan). iii. Cusanuswerk: a. Eligibility: The Gospel of the Catholic Church grants full scholarships to: i. Catholic students from the 1st semester ii. Doctoral students. b. Scholarship amount: (max.897 per month) to Catholic students from the 1st semester as well as to doctoral students (max.1450 per month). c. Prerequisites: An early application with a professional appraisal of a professor.as well as a high school report. For the latter, a conversation with Hr.
