International Cooperation Opportunities Pul uj National Technical University International Education Programme is the new European Union programme in the fields of education, training, youth and sport for 2014-2020. It offers a range of opportunities for students, researchers, staff of education institutions and organizations around the world. All these opportunities are funded by the European Union. Sport Eligible participating organizations: education institutions, non-governmental and youth organizations, enterprises, etc. Target groups: undergraduate and graduate students, postgraduates, higher education lecturers and professors, youth professionals, specialists in the education field, etc. 3
KA1. Learning mobility І. Mobility project for higher education students and staff Student mobility (a study period abroad at a partner higher education institutions, a traineeship (work placement) abroad in an enterprise). Staff mobility (teaching or training periods). Project duration: 16 or 24 months Partnership criteria: 1 applicant (from the EU member states); at least 2 partner entities (sending and receiving organizations), one of which must be established in the EU country; Learning Agreement, Mobility Agreement or Іnter-institutional agreement. Peculiarities The study period abroad must be a part of the student s study programme. KA1. Learning mobility ІІ. Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees Development of joint Master degree programmes of 60, 90 or 120 ECTS credits and student training under them. Project duration: 4 or 5 years (according to the Grant Agreement) Partnership criteria: 1 applicant (from the EU member states); at least 3 partner organisations established in the different EU countries. Additional criteria: JMD Consortium Agreement. Peculiarities: The project proposal must include the development and implementation of excellent joint Master degree programmes oriented to the best students all over the world. 5
KA1. Learning mobility ІІІ. Mobility project for young people and youth workers Youth Exchanges. European Voluntary Service. Training of young people and youth workers. Large-scale European Voluntary Service events Target groups: young people, specialists in the youth field, youth organizations, public and private entities. 6
KA1. Learning mobility Grants for individuals In the framework of EU Programme the following opportunities are provided for the individuals: for students to learn abroad, including studies and traineeships; for staff to undertake professional development activities, including training, teaching or attending workshops. KA2. Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices І. Strategic Partnerships Development and implementation of innovative practices at organizational, local, regional, national or European levels. Project duration: 24 or 36 months The maximum grant amount: 150 000 EUR Partnership criteria: at least 3 partner organizations from 3 different EU countries. Peculiarities: Ukraine can be involved in a Strategic Partnership, as a partner, if its participation brings an essential added value to the project. 8
KA2. Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices ІI. Knowledge Alliances Developing new, innovative and multidisciplinary approaches to teaching and learning (new multidisciplinary curricula, etc.). Stimulating entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial skills of higher education teaching staff and enterprise staff. Facilitating the flow and exchange of knowledge between higher education and enterprises. Project duration: 24 or 36 months The maximum grant amount: 700 000 EUR (2 роки) 1 000 000 EUR (3 роки) Partnership criteria: minimum 6 partner organizations from 3 different Programme Countries (at least 2 HEIs and 2 enterprises). Peculiarities: Ukraine can be involved in a Strategic Partnership, as a partner, if its participation brings an essential added value to the project. 9
KA2. Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices ІII. Capacity building in the field of higher education Developing and implementing new study programmes, curricula and teaching methods, adapted to a specific field, and enhancing their relevance for the labour market; professional development of staff; increasing quality of higher education; improving governance. Introducing reforms related to modernizing education policy and implementing Bologna Process, etc., at national level with the participation of governing bodies in Partner Countries Project duration: 24 or 36 months The maximum grant amount: 700 000 EUR (2 роки) 1 000 000 EUR (3 роки) Partnership criteria: at least 9 partner organizations from 3 different Programme Countries, including 2 EU states. Peculiarities: Ukraine is an eligible participant of this Action and it can be an initiator/coordinator and equal partner of the project as well. 10
KA3. Support to policy reform Structured Dialogue: meetings between young people and decisionmakers in the field of youth. Supporting the EU practices and tools in the field of education policy. The maximum grant amount: 50 000 EUR. Target groups: non-governmental organizations. Sport Partnerships in the sport field Not-for-profit European sport events Grant amount: 500 000 2 000 000 EUR. 11
Jean Monnet Activities Within the Programme, the Jean Monnet Activities aim at promoting excellence in teaching and research in the field of European Union studies worldwide. These activities also aim at fostering the dialogue between the academic world and policy-makers, in particular with the aim of enhancing governance of EU policies. Eligible activities: Teaching and Research: Jean Monnet Modules, Chairs and Centres of Excellence. Support to Associations: Jean Monnet Associations. Policy debate with the Academic World: Jean Monnet Networks and Jean Monnet Projects. Grant amount: 30 000 300 000 EUR. Peculiarities: the project proposal can be submitted by HEIs established at any country. 12
