Position Responsibilities Lead Support Advancement Committee Advancement Chair Assures that BSA Advancement Policies are followed. Coordinates BOR for all ranks. Participate in all Eagle BOR s and sends appropriate notice upon completion. Maintain and update Scout advancement records in paper form and in Troopmaster. Order and prepare awards for Courts of Honor. Assures that Merit Badge Blue cards are properly signed off and recorded in Troopmaster. Signs off in Scout s book that Merit Badge requirement has been met for rank. (POR signoff is by Scoutmaster once Contract has been approved.) Generate award report 1 week prior to COH. Orders all MB, rank, awards, service pins, etc. and assures they are available for COH s. Assures that Scouts receive awards and collects those un-awarded to hold for next COH. Maintains supply of POR, Trained, Patrol, etc. patches and assures that Scouts receive them. Purges all > 1 year old camporee patches for Flodder Bucks Auction.
