Held in Münster, Germany, our Summer School is an unique opportunity to learn, practice, share and create the change we need. More specifically Modules Duration Aims of module The Social Innovator 20h Understanding the social context and need identification Get to know the characteristics of a social innovator Social Entrepreneurship 20h Develop a basic understanding of Social Entrepreneurship Get to know ways to put ideas into practice Hands-on project 20h Develop a social project in intercultural teams that can and should be put into practice (supervised by professors) Included in the program: 3 Lectures on Social Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship at a top-ranked German University of Applied Sciences, combining theoretical backgrounds with practical applications Intensive exchange with and supervision by internationally experienced professors of FH Münster, partner universities and entrepreneurs Visits to German companies and organizations to get insights into the German social innovation landscape Project-based learning in international teams Experience German culture in Münster, where the Westphalian peace treaty was signed in 1648

How to join? Admission requirements: Applicants should be currently enrolled in a Bachelor s or Master s program at one of our partner universities. They should have a good knowledge of English, as the course is taught in English. Prior knowledge of Social Entrepreneurship is not necessary. The two weeks course bears 3 ECTS. Application: deadline - April 1 st, 2018 Your application should include: Proof of international health insurance Proof of matriculation Information on level of German (if applicable) Proof of command of English level (B1) Please send your application via e-mail to: Lina Landinez email: landinez@fh-muenster.de Course fee: 700 EUR Costs included: Accommodation at a hostel in the city center (double room, single room: additional costs), course material, welcome package, free wire-less internet access on campus, Münster bus pass for the time of your stay, company visits, social activities. Not included: Travel to and from Germany, visa expenses, health insurance, accident or liability insurance, meals, any additional personal expenses. 5
