Care Providers of Minnesota is a non-profit membership association representing skilled nursing facilities/nursing facilities, senior housing, assisted living, and home care providers, as well as business partners, across the State. Our 900+ members include non-profit and for-profit organizations that provide post-acute care and long-term services and support. We are the state affiliate for the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living, and with our national partners, we provide solutions for quality care. Members of Care Providers of Minnesota understand the importance of working together to benefit the entire long-term care profession. Provider members of Care Providers of Minnesota are automatically members of the American Health Care Association and the National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) the nation s largest association of long-term and post-acute providers. This combined membership gives you access to State expertise and experience, plus national resources and strategic advocacy in Washington, DC. LTC TREND TRACKER A web-based tool that enables long term and post-acute care providers, including assisted living, to access key information that can help their organization succeed. This exclusive benefit for AHCA/NCAL members allows skilled nursing and assisted living organizations to benchmark personal metrics to those of their peers and examine ongoing quality improvement efforts. THE QUALITY INITIATIVE A national, multi-year effort to further improve quality of care in America s long-term and post-acute care centers. Since the launch of the Initiative in 2012, members have been challenged to meet measurable targets in key areas such as hospitalizations and antipsychotics usage. The assisted living voice of AHCA. QUALITY AWARDS PROGRAM Pathway for providers of long-term and post-acute care services to journey towards performance excellence. The program is based on the core values and criteria of the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program. Member centers may apply for three progressive levels of awards: Bronze Commitment to Quality, Silver Achievement in Quality, or Gold Excellence in Quality. Each level has its own distinct rigors and requirements for quality and performance excellence. QUALITY SUMMIT The NCAL Spring Conference and the Quality Symposium have joined forces to become the AHCA/NCAL Quality Summit. This merger of two must-attend events means that the Quality Summit represents the best of both the Symposium and the Spring Conference nationally recognized keynote speakers; strong just-in-time training on key quality improvement topics, and much more.
