Application 7 DATA PRIVACY POLICY OF THE GEORG ECKERT INSTITUTE FOR THE GEORG ARNHOLD PROGRAM The Georg Eckert Institute for International Textbook Research treats applications confidentially and will only store and process personal data of applicants to the extent necessary for the purpose of selecting candidates for the Georg Arnhold International Summer School and in accordance with German data protection law. The Georg Eckert Institute will archive application documents for three years unless instructed by an applicant to do otherwise; such documents will then be destroyed in line with German data protection regulations. Applicants have the right to withdraw their consent to the processing of their personal data at any time and to review and edit their personal data; in such cases, they are requested to contact the coordinator of the Georg Arnhold Program to make their request.
