Conference Location Kaua i Marriott Resort 3610 Rice Street Lihue, Hawaii 96766 Telephone: (808) 245-5050 Kauai is Hawaii s fourth largest island and is sometimes called the Garden Isle, which is an entirely accurate description. The oldest and northernmost island in the Hawaiian chain is draped in emerald valleys, sharp mountain spires and jagged cliffs, aged by time and the elements. Centuries of growth have formed tropical rainforests, forking rivers and cascading waterfalls. Some parts of Kauai are only accessible by sea or air, revealing views beyond your imagination. Beyond Kauai s dramatic beauty, the island is home to a variety of outdoor activities. Kayak the Wailua River. Snorkel on Poipu Beach. Hike the trails of Kokee State Park. Even go ziplining above Kauai s lush valleys. But it is the island s laidback atmosphere and rich culture found in its small towns and along its one-lane bridges that make it truly timeless. Make your escape to Kauai and discover the undeniable allure of Kauai. Accommodations A block of rooms has been reserved at the Kaua i Marriott Resort for conference participants at a special conference rate of $245.00 plus tax per night for single/ double occupancy. A full hot breakfast buffet for up to 2 occupants is included in the guestroom rate. The rates will be offered for three days prior and three days after the meeting dates, subject to availability. There is an additional discounted resort fee of $10.00 plus tax per room, per night and it includes self-parking and guestroom internet. The policy further states that all potential conflicts of interest of the CME staff and faculty be fully disclosed to the program s participants.
