What is the Network? Orange County Regional Economic and Workforce Development Network (the Network) serves as a mechanism to promote effective communication and on-going collaboration across systems that enhance workforce and economic development, and support sector initiatives. 3

Featured Spotlight Project Trade Adjustment Assistance Western Trade Adjustment Assistance Center (Western TAAC) Established in 1978, supported by a Department of Commerce grant, assists U.S. manufacturers to improve their international competitiveness. Mission: To provide matching fund grants for technical services through independent industry consultants in the broad areas such as marketing, management, engineering, and quality systems for import impacted firms. Eligibility: Manufacturing, service and agricultural firms that have been import impacted as demonstrated by declining sales or production and decline or anticipated decline in employment levels. 10
