Technology Center The Technology Center is a computer lab & resource library At the Center, you can: Use Microsoft Office software to work on your resume Build your computer skills with self-paced tutorials Have your resume & cover letters reviewed* Take part in a mock-interview* Have your LinkedIn profile photo taken Use the fax and copy machine *Note: You must first complete Resume Essentials I, Cover Letter Essentials I & Impactful Interviewing I NEXT STEP: Attend a Drop-in Technology Center Enrollment Session Wednesdays: 2:30 3:30 pm (Takes place after the JVS Orientation) Fridays: 10:30 11:30 am
Job Search Skills Workshops We offer over 60 workshops every month, on topics such as: Job Goal Setting I & II* Resume & Cover Letter Essentials I* Impactful Interviewing* Developing Your Pitch Successful Networking Techniques How To Link Through LinkedIn and Beyond How To Find a Job Using Twitter Register online at jvs.org/calendar Resume and Cover Letter Reviews (one-on-one feedback) Our workshops are also offered on the Peninsula, in the East Bay and at other sites throughout San Francisco NEXT STEP: Visit jvs.org/calendar to view all our workshops & locations * We highly recommend beginning with our 4 Fundamentals workshops.

Job Search Strategy Groups Strategy Groups are informal meetings, tailored to specific groups of job seekers looking for a safe environment to network, share tips, & work collaboratively with peer support. Groups are facilitated by our staff. Pre-registration is not required. Career Coaching If you are clarifying your career goals, planning a career transition or trying to resolve issues that are getting in the way of your career satisfaction & growth, Career Coaching can help! Our highly trained career coaches advise in the following areas: Career Assessment & Planning Executive Job Search Issues at Work Re-Careering After 50 People usually attend around 3 to 5 sessions Career Coaching is the only program we offer that is fee-for-service.
