Job Seeker Registration Application This is the one stop staff home page. Go to the Navigation Menu and open the Register file to begin the applicant registration process. 2
Job Seeker Registration Application Go to the Navigation Menu; open the Register file, then open the job seeker folder. Select New to access the Contact Details page that is the first page of the Common Customer Intake. 3
Job Seeker Registration Application Complete all mandatory (*) data items, including a primary phone number, on this page. Click Next to go to the next page of the Common Customer Intake. NOTE: When doing a registration, partial information may be pre populated in some fields from the FLUID interface if the person was dislocated in Florida and received unemployment compensation. 4

Job Seeker Registration Application In the Select Program block, click on the drop down box and select the Wagner Peyser program. Click Next to go to the General Information page of the application. 6
Job Seeker Registration Application A job seeker registration is required for all tradeaffected applicants. Go to the Register file and open the Job seeker folder. Select New to access the first page of the Common Customer Intake. Complete all required data elements on this page. The other items on this page may be completed for informational purposes. 7
Job Seeker Registration Application This is an example of a completed General Information page. The Contact Details, Demographics and the General Information pages compose the Wagner Peyser application. These three OSMIS pages may be copied and placed in the applicant s file. Click Next to go to Employment History page of the application. 8
Job Seeker Registration Employment History The employment history is the next page of the application. Complete all required (*) data elements. This is an example of a summary of the complete employment history page. Note: The trade affected employer should be the most recent employer listed on the history page with the appropriate reason for dislocation. 9
Job Seeker Registration Employment Preferences Employment preferences are important in the job search and job matching process. If job seeker must find a job leave the shift, salary and job type blank. Leaving these fields blank will not limit your job match when performing job search activity. If receiving unemployment compensation Are you actively seeking employment? should = yes. 10
Job Seeker Registration Selection of Job Titles Job titles are selected based on employment preferences. 11
Job Seeker Services Go to the Navigation Menu and click on Select Job Seeker to access the customer s registration. Note: The application status is usually active, but a job placement or no services provided to the customer within a 90 day period results in an inactive application. 12
Job Seeker Services Go to the Navigation Menu and click on Manage Services, then select add to record the staff assisted workforce services provided. 13
Job Seeker Services The following are examples of core and intensive services: Core a completed WP application Intensive assessment interview, individual counseling, job search activities job order search with local office contact, referred to training other federal training programs (TAA) and assigned a case manager. NOTES: A requisite service or case notes should be recorded every 60 days to keep the WP registration active. WIA services should not duplicate Wagner Peyser services. 14
Job Seeker Customer Case Notes Go to the Navigation Menu and click on the Register folder, select the Contact Details file and click on Add Customer Notes or View Customer Notes links. 15
Job Seeker Application Skills Gap Analysis Skills Gap Analysis is optional and can be included in the assessment. 16
Wagner Peyser and WIA Roles Change user access role by changing the Login as: from Wagner Peyser/OneStopStaff to WIA/Staff. 17
Registration WIA This is the Contact Details page of the Common Customer Intake. Update the participant s contact information, as appropriate and click Next. 18
Registration WIA This is the Demographic Information page of the Common Customer Intake. Click Next to go the Program Details page. Note: This completed page is not the TAA Bona Fide application. 19
WIA Application Open the Concurrent Participation block to record that the customer is a NAFTA TAA or Trade Adjustment Act participant. Select the Add link to display the drop down box. Note: It is mandatory that the Concurrent Participation block be selected to record the partner program NAFTA TAA or Trade Adjustment Act for the customer who is covered under an approved petition #. 20
WIA Application Click on the Program drop down box to see a list of partner programs. Select either NAFTA TAA or Trade Adjustment Act. Please note that NAFTA TAA refers to the old petition number series below 50000. 21
Job Seeker Registration Application Enter the Start Date of the NAFTA TAA or Trade Adjustment Act program. The start date is the Enrolled in Training (approval) date. The End Date is the Actual End Date on the activity outcome page. Save the page. 22

Registration WIA Complete all required data items on the WIA General Information page. The trade affected employer should be the most recent employer listed in the Employment Information section. Completion of this page composes the WIA application. Save the information. OSMIS will take you to the WIA Eligibility Documentation List. 25
Registration Eligibility Documentation List After saving the Program Registration General Information page, OSMIS will take you to the Eligibility Documentation List for WIA Dislocated Worker. Select the Calendar or manually enter the Date of Verification, Verify Status, and the Verification Source. Select a response for Is the customer eligible? and then SAVE the document. All verification source documents must be maintained in a folder. NOTE: Completion of the application and documentation pages constitute the TAA Bona Fide Application. Place a copy in the customer s file for monitoring and auditing purposes. 26
TAA WIA CASE MANAGEMENT IN OSMIS Assigning Assisted Core Activities When assigning an assisted core activity, enter data in the field as illustrated in the screenshots above. Note: You must use your local Dislocated Worker funds for this activity. 27
Assigning an Intensive Activity When assigning an Intensive activity, enter data in the fields as illustrated in the screenshot above. Note: You must use your local Dislocated Worker funds for this activity. 28
Assigning a Job Search Allowance To assign a Job Search Allowance TAA service, go to the Navigation Menu and select the Provide a Supportive Service link to access the page. Select Job Search Allowance TAA from the drop down menu: Enter an actual start date Enter a projected end date Select Special Project Code 00KY Trade Adjustment Assistance Select a Service Provider and save the page. 29
Assigning a Relocation Allowance To assign a Relocation Allowance TAA service, go to the Navigation Menu and select the Provide a Supportive Service link to access the page. Select Relocation Allowance TAA from the drop down menu: Enter an actual start date Enter a projected end date Select Special Project Code 00KY Trade Adjustment Assistance Select a Service Provider and save the page. NOTE: If the customer is approved for a single allowance, complete the steps shown on pages 2 27. 30
Job Placement On the Navigation Menu select the Job Placement Link. Click on Add to enter placement information. Enter the employer s name in the Employer name starts with field and click Search information. 31
Job Placement Click on the Employer s Name on the Employer Search Results page. Enter details about the placement job in the mandatory fields. 32
Job Placement Job Placement is recorded on the OSMIS Case History NOTE: Coordinate job placement information with the Wagner Peyser program associate. Exit the case, as appropriate. 33
