1 Introduction 1.1 Background The aim of the AgeingWell Network is to build and animate a European network focused on improving the quality of life of older persons by promoting the market uptake of ICT solutions for Ageing well. To achieve its aim, the following five main objectives of the AgeingWell project are: Develop guidelines for deployment and sharing of best practice between key competence centres; Build an ICT for Ageing Knowledge Centre with the aim to share the results with the Ageing Well Community; Develop an ICT for Ageing Society Strategic Agenda, with the aim of providing a study on options for future structure and implementation of EU innovation funding; Promote the European innovation reinforcement between innovative ICT & Ageing industries (in particular SMEs) and Venture Capital firms, Business Angels and other; Raise awareness within the European community of ICT & Ageing stakeholders through webbased communication, and the organization of 3 international events and 11 national events. 1.2 Summary The AgeingWell Network aims at bringing together stakeholders in the ICT and Ageing Sector, covering the industry, user organizations, public authorities, investors, housing and insurance companies and ICT solutions providers, among others. These stakeholders have different interests and needs and therefore the offer of the AgeingWell Network is assessed by them based on those aspects. This document constitutes of a revised version presenting the outcomes produced by the AgeingWell Network during the last two years and associating those outcomes to the different stakeholders of the network. 2 AgeingWell offer by stakeholder When listing the key stakeholders of the AgeingWell Network (see D2.2 - Identification of Key Stakeholders at Regional, National, European and Global Level), members have decided to divide them into five categories: ICT SME & Industry; Investor; Public Authority; End-users organisation; and Other organisation (Universities, Research Centers, R&D institutions, Insurance companies, etc). Table 1 indicates the outcomes offered, during these two years of activity, by the AgeingWell Network, and its relevance towards each type of stakeholder. 3 Targeting stakeholders Communicating and targeting the various stakeholders of the AgeingWell Network stakeholders has to be plan and executed according to the specific needs and interests, in order to make this process effective and to raise interest. Based on the outcomes listed in the previous section, concrete actions to target the different stakeholders are foreseen for the third year of the network, as described next. ICT solutions providers/industry End-users organisations (and individuals) As one of the main stakeholders of the network, this group is targeted in all activities performed by the network. Representatives of this target-group, namely associate members, have participated in the evaluation of good practices that were collected in 2013 and compiled in the Good Practices Handbook (D3.7). By being involved in this evaluation process, this target-group had the opportunity to find out about existent practices in ICT and Ageing. In 2014, they will have the opportunity to access the Handbook and to learn more about the practices in the network events, as it is planned to invite the promoters of the good practices to attend these events and, perhaps, do a presentation. This is mainly planned for the 3 rd International Event of the AgeingWell Network. In addition, through the use of the social media platforms, this target-group will be informed about D2.2 as a useful source for finding partners for new projects for the upcoming Horizon 2020 calls. Also, the Knowledge Center will be promoted as a source of understanding what is already being done, as well as a place where this target group can add information about their own projects. The AgeingWell newsletter will continue to be sent to this target-group, who can also contribute by sending articles and news about their initiatives to be published in this communication tool. Investors This group is interested in accessing information about innovative and new products/services on ICT4Ageing market. Therefore information about ICT solutions providers and/or entrepreneurs whose ideas might be worthy to support need to be shared. There are two areas in the Knowledge Center addressing investors and entrepreneurs, which will be further disseminated and where this target-group can add information about them and their specific interest concerning ICT solutions for Ageing. Research Centres Similarly to the ICT solutions providers/industry target-group, these stakeholders will be informed about D2.2 as a useful source for finding partners for new projects for the upcoming Horizon 2020 calls. In addition, the AgeingWell newsletter will continue to be sent to this target-group, which will D3.6 AgeingWell offer by Stakeholder - Month 24 10

include information about current calls and/or existing funding programmes as these constitute one of the sources for financing the research activities. Also, representatives of this target group will be consulted to provide inputs for the second version of the ICT for Ageing Society Strategic Agenda (D3.5), and therefore will access the first version that will be used as basis for discussion. Representatives of this target-group will be invited for the AgeingWell Network events planned for 2014, in particular those organizations that contributed with good practices and that will have now the opportunity to present them to a wider audience. Public Authorities Information about the Guidelines Handbook, the Good Practice Handbook, the Knowledge Center and the events will be sent out to representatives of this target-group, as raising awareness among this target group about the current state-of-the-art of Ageing Well community can influence their decisions about new initiatives and policies for the benefit of the elderly population. In this sense, also representatives of this target group will be consulted to provide inputs for the second version of the ICT for Ageing Society Strategic Agenda (D3.5), and therefore will access the first version that will be used as basis for discussion.
