Description Nurses have identified a need to connect to a research network where they can find opportunities to conduct their research. This two-part program is designed to facilitate identification and collaboration of research opportunities in the nursing community. The knowledge gained from this program will allow nurses to clarify the research process, connect to others with similar interests and conduct nursing research that will improve the overall health and quality of life of eastern North Carolina. Who Should Attend Registered nurses in any practice setting, faculty in schools of nursing, as well as graduate and undergraduate nursing students who are interested in establishing a collaborative research partnership. Credit Part 1: 3.25 CNE hours Part 2: 3.25 CNE hours The Eastern AHEC Department of Nursing and Allied Health Education is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the North Carolina Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center s Commission on Accreditation. Attendance at the entire program is required for credit. Participation is verified by check in at the start of the program and initial out at the end of the program. Certificates of completion will be available after the participant completes the on-line evaluation.
