Now is the time to sign up for a Council committee this year! This is a great opportunity to get to help behind-the-scenes with 4-H events, activities, and programs at the county level! The Incentives and Recognition, Pancake Breakfast, and Record Book committees all need at least one representative per club. Updates on Bill Coates From Judi: The Coates family has asked me to pass the following on to you all: He will be at Good Sam for a few more days (in ICU, I think) then moved to an acute care department. I m not sure if that s at Good Sam, so will keep you informed. The doctor is pleased with Bill s progress. The e-mail for the family is: coatesclan@yahoo.com A menu schedule for meals for the family has been set up and can be accessed here: Mealtrain.com/y6ny9y Issues of the 4-H Update can be found on the San Benito County 4-H Website at: http://cesanbenito.ucanr.edu/news_794/4-h_guidepost/

I suggest contacting the family (Nancy) to see where they are for meal delivery. The night of the surgery, several were at the hospital with plenty to eat for the family and visitors who were there to be with them. If you take meals, be sure to remember utensils, plates, cups, and something to serve with, if that is needed. Everyone is totally thanked for the help, support and prayers - so please keep them coming. 6. Clubs are eligible to apply, but Lynn will need to submit the application. If you are interested in applying for this funding, please contact Lynn prior to November 18 th about the application process. The awards will be made at the City Council Meeting on December 7 th, 2015. Please see the attachments below for more information. 7.
