Recognizing and Responding to Concerning Behavior E4Health (EAP) Curry Student Center 346 1 Hour Capacity 50 All associates may occasionally exhibit declines in productivity or concerns regarding work performance or behavior. However, associates with unresolved personal challenges, substance abuse issues, interpersonal difficulties, or other issues that impact their functioning, may show a pattern of unsatisfactory work performance over a period of time. Often, supervisors and managers will avoid dealing directly with these situations or will do things to help the associate. Though well intentioned, certain actions might actually perpetuate problem behaviors. This session will address recognizing concerning behaviors, best practices for discussing these concerns with the associate, as well as actions to take, including collaboration with available workplace and E4 Health resources.
