What will this look like? Sustainable procurement is embedded Environmental and social issues accounted for in tendering, processes and activities. An active Fairtrade University. Soil Association s Food for Life Mark. Affiliated with the Workers Rights Consortium (WRC) and other ethical organisations relevant to Higher Education. Outcomes - ICT Criteria: Suppliers/sub-contractors support international labour standards and codes of conduct. Purchase ethical and fairly traded products, avoiding exploitation of labour, Electronics Watch First Welsh organisation to affiliate to Electronics Watch. Independent monitoring organisation, helps public sector buyers work together to ensure respect for labour rights and safety standards in factories making ICT hardware we buy.
