Most recent data: $1.2 billion in funding for over 22,000 grants in 2014. $1.3 billion in funding for over 33,000 grants in 2015. EDUCATION INNOVATION STATION PLANNING GRANTS 50 grants at $10,000 each. Designed to spur innovation in local education efforts, and to enhance station capacity to carry out that work. Stations will create a plan to develop new education services or improve existing service models to better meet the needs of their communities. Plans may target any subject area or age group, from early learners through adult learners.
GRANT REQUIREMENTS JULY NOVEMBER Attend in-person meeting in Washington, D.C. Conduct needs assessment to determine audience needs and partners Participate in 3 webinars Final deliverable project plan
