International networking aws is active in numerous networks and proactively supports international cooperation. This provides Austrian companies with access to international networks, grants, co-financing and much more. In addition, current economic challenges are dealt with in the international context and future topics are developed. Start-ups GIN Global Incubator Network Found your start-up in Austria/abroad: GIN is the contact point for start-ups, investors and incubators. It connects the Austrian start-up ecosystem with hotspots in Asia. GIN is managed by Austria Wirtschaftsservice and the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG). Corporates GIN EAF NEFI EIB AECM European Association of Guarantee Institutions: 41 companies and associations from 21 countries form a strong network within the EEA. Most important is the exchange of experience and know-how on guarantee instruments for SMEs. Since 2015, the Managing Director of aws has been chairman of the organisation. NEFI Network of European Financial Institutions: As an active member, aws supports the planning and implementation of EU-wide funding and financing plans. NEFI consists of 19 financial institutions and promotes access to finance for SMEs in Europe. EIB EIF EAF aws integrates EU funding into its products, e.g. for mobilising research, development and innovation, for increasing the competitiveness of SMEs, for reducing charges for aws guarantees, for start-up projects, and for investment incentives for business angels.
