Project Description Back to the Future is an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange project that gathers 35 young people from 7 countries (Slovakia, Turkey, Italy, Romania, Spian, Lithuania, Croatia) which will take place in a village Horné Orešany located near Trnava (Slovakia) between 19-26 August 2018. The project is focused on finding out different youth opportunuties across the globe, prducing solutions on spreading out awareness of this youth opportunuties through the local communities. The aim of the project is to encourage young people to take active citizenship roles on developing use-cases regarding applications and awareness of different youth opportunuties in a creative way. What is more, the participants will gain technical-skills from creating video and photo tutorials, effective usage of practical online tools, preparing CV and motivation letters to the soft-skills such as facilitation and team-work. Project s objectives are - Expolaration of different youth opportunuties across the globe, - Highlighting Erasmus+ awareness and it s subtitles such as EVS, Youth Exchanges, Training Courses, Strategic Partnrships,, Erasmus+ Intern, Mundus etc. - Highlighting other youth opportunuties such as AIESEC, GoCamp, Workaway, Work and Travel etc. - Scolarship opportunuties for young people - Personal development by improving technical skills such as creating effective CV & Europass and motivation letter, usage of online tools and ICT tools. - Producing creative contents of all this youth opportunuties in order to reach unaware young people, - Inspiring and encouraging at least 1000 unaware young people to use our learning outcomes, through our local communities.
What to prepare before the Youth Exchange? 1) Before the exchange, the participants will be expected to do a research about youth opportunuties in their countries and to prepare a short presentation about current situation: - Most popular youth opportunuties & youth programs, - National youth opportunuties and scolarship programs that doesn t exist in other countries, - Unemployment situation and goverment supports & programs for unemployed young people, 2) Each nationality group will be responsible for a short introductive presentation in below given topics, - Danube Volunteer Centre: Opportunuties of Erasmus+ and Council of Europe, - EuroSud: EVS - Euopski Put: Workaway and AIESEC,(How it works?) - Open Europe: Biggest scholarship Opportunuties in Europe, - Inceptus: Erasmus Intern - Youth Eurasia: Europass & Motivation Letter 3) Moreover, each nationality group should prepare cultural program for their evening, when they are going to present their country. Participants can bring traditional food, drinks, clothes, etc. Note: At least 1 laptop is required for each national group.
Participant s Profile Each nationality group will consist of 5 participants (4 participants + 1 group leader). 3 female + 2 male participant expected in the frame of positive discrimination due the high women unemployment rate in Europe. The age of the participants will be between 18 and 26 years old. Priority should be given to applicants with fewer opportunities, with the interest to the topic of the project. Practical Information Travel costs Travel costs will be refunded based on original tickets and receipts up to the maximum amounts listed below: Note: only Turkish participants has 60 visa budget
Travel Insurance Travel insurance should be arranged by each participant individually. Food and Accomodation Costs for food and accomodation are going to be covered by organizers from Erasmus+ programe grant. Food will be provided based on the special needs of the participants (there will be vegetarian and vegan alternatives) in the restaurant, which is a part of a motel. Participants are going to be accomodated in Bowling Motel in Horné Orešany (http://www.bowlingmotel.sk/). The motel has its own restaurant, bar, bowling and conference room. Horné Orešany is a village situated near Trnava. There is a dam within the walking distance from the motel. Participants will accomodate in twin or triple rooms (2 or 3 persons) with same gender.
Travel Instructions Participants expected to arrive in the venue on 19th August until 18:00 and depart from the venue on 26th August after breakfast. Nearest airports are Bratislava, Vienna and Budapest. (The journey from Vienna to Bratislava is 1 hour, from Budapest it is 2-3 hours). It is also possible to fly to Prague, but the journey takes approximately 5 hours. Journey from Vienna to Bratislava - there is a direct bus from Vienna airport to Bratislava (bus station), it going every 1 hour - buy the tickets of company RegioJet (www.regiojet.sk) - they are the cheapest and the best option - the price of the ticket is between 1 to 5 Journey from Budapest to Bratislava - there is a direct bus from the airport to Bratislava (but it is not going very often, maybe just 3 times a day) - bus to Bratislava (bus station) which is going every 2 hours is from bus stop at Kelenföld - buy the tickets of company RegioJet (www.regiojet.sk) - they are the cheapest and the best option - the price of the ticket is between 8-10 Journey from Bratislava to Horné Orešany (project venue) 1. option - there is a direct bus from Bratislava bus station to Horné Orešany (but not very often, we need to check it before the project) 2. option - go from Bratislava to Trnava by bus or train and take a bus from Trnava to Horné Orešany (we will let you know about the exact numbers of buses and platforms before the project)
