INDEX 1. Huíla Province 2. Business Areas 3. Target Public and Markets 4. Forum Projects 5. INVEST Huíla 2015 Program - Proposal 6. Forum Discussion Panels - Proposal 3

HUÍLA PROVINCE Huíla s Huila has natural features and capabilities that, properly stimulated, can contribute to the socio-economic development of the province and the country. Located southwest of Angola, with an area of 79 023 km2, in the Province of Huila s surrounding there are the provinces of Benguela and Huambo in the north, the Namibe Province in the west,, Bié and Kuando Kubango to the west and in the southern end the Cunene Province, thus offering a strategic position enhanced by air links, rail and road to the main urban centers as well as surrounding provinces and the country's capital, Luanda. According to the provisional results of the 2014 Census the province has a resident population estimated at 2,354,398 inhabitants, mostly rural (1,573,018 inhabitants) and a middle class composed of professions related to health and education, Huíla should continue to focus their efforts on developing the economic sectors that benefit from its primordial conditions, particularly the agricultural sector with an consequent stimulation of agribusiness. The agricultural sector presents itself as one of the most attractive for investment, both by the high profitability but mostly by the potential consumer market of over 100 million people between Angola, Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo, as main export destination of Angolan agricultural production. The 2013-2017 Provincial Development Plan envisages to consolidate, develop and diversify the economic base of the province, enhancing the production capacity of agriculture, livestock, industry and tourism. The identification of a vast area of lakes and potentially fertile soils with skills for the promotion of agriculture, livestock, aquaculture and forestry, and the existence of appropriate microclimate for growing temperate species, promote projects linked to the primary sector and consequently the secondary, it is therefore essential to conduct a forum as means of attracting investors to boost and diversify the business world. 4

BUSINESS AREAS The aim is to present projects of different business areas such as anchor projects, to leverage the funding from national and international investors. The first goal of the 2015 INVEST Huila Forum is to capture 200 entrepreneurs / investors. The second goal is to convert this participation in a post-forum interested rate of 20%, which is 40 entrepreneurs. The third and main goal is the effective capture of a minimum of 500 million USD to be held in five years, in priority areas according to the Provincial Development Plan of Huila. The boost youth entrepreneurship, with special relevance by stimulating partnerships with young entrepreneurs and women entrepreneurs. The increase of investment in the province and the diversification of business sectors will be reflected in the short and medium term to create more direct and indirect jobs, generating an exponential increase in the employment rate, and contributing to a higher social return to 53%. 5

MARKETS AND TARGET AUDIENCE The aim of the Business and Investment Forum organization is to attract investors for the development of the key sectors in the Province of Huila. Therefore, direct contacts will be established to attract participation of relevant business-owners, from different countries and significance, with great investment capacity and Know-how. It is expected a participation of 200 national and international investors, with outstanding business activities in the different economic sectors, plus some guests and international figures. 7

FORUM PROJECT It presents a draft forum to occur during two days, intensively, as the target audience s availability appears as a constraint that can only be overcome by the compilation of the entire event in a short period of time. There were defined five discussions panels with international and national figures, in which aims to present the legal framework issues, international cooperation and trade facilitation along with a showcase Panel of the potential of the Province of Huila, presenting not only the province but particularly concrete projects available for investment (containing dossiers). Settling the Organizing Committee and starting up the contacts to call speakers and participants there will be defined responsibilities for creating and mailing management, advertising and marketing of supervision, logistics definition of the event, and coordination with the different suppliers. In view of the event characteristics it will be assembled the international and national press to attend the event. In order to promote and disseminate the products of the Huila Province, will be allocated a corresponding area to the lobby with the presentation of the Regional Products along with a Photographic Exhibition of the strengths of the Province. 8
