One hundred years later, we re taking a new look at one of this country s most remarkable collections. Encounter treasures by the likes of Botticelli, Bosch, Titian, Rembrandt, and Monet and see how art historians keep making new discoveries about the collection. Members-Only Inside Look: Creation Made Visible Tuesday, November 14, 9:30 a.m. Experience Old Masters with a tour led by those who helped bring the exhibition to life. Selected from more than 1,000 applicants, this year s craft show will feature the work of 195 contemporary craft artists from 31 states, plus 25 special guest artists from Korea. Members Meet-and-Greet Tour Thursday, November 9, 6:30 p.m., or Friday, November 10, 11:00 a.m. Enjoy a 30-minute guided tour highlighted by personal discussions with three select artists about their work and inspirations. Following the tour, you can explore the show at your leisure. Members $25, guests $30. Members-Only Tours There s always more to see let us show you around. These tours are free for members and start in Lenfest Hall (West Entrance). See left for dates and times. Space is limited, and reservations are required. Old Masters : Celebrating the Johnson Collection Experience firsthand how our understanding and appreciation of these works has evolved over the years. Introduction to the Collection Rodin Explore the Rodin s remarkable ensemble of architecture, scenery, and sculpture. Tours meet at the Rodin. South Asian Discover the South Asian galleries. Highlights include a stone temple hall from southern India, ornate Buddhist works from Tibet and Nepal, colorful textiles, and lively temple sculpture. A Walk Journey to a medieval French cloister, a sixteenth-century Indian temple hall, the country estates of eighteenth-century Europe, and a Japanese tea house from the early nineteenth century.
