March 30 INSPIRATION FROM THE BOOK CLUB Book Club meets in the Chapel Wednesday and Friday mornings at 10 a.m. Reading mostly books of inspiration, attendees often share stories of life experiences, both happy and sad. Oftentimes, poems and short stories are brought in that really touch the heart. Here s a little sample: AGING YEARS The aging years weave wisdom, A tapestry of time, And younger lives regard you With respect and awe sublime. Age is a time of beauty, The tide of youth has fled And left upon the beaches The loving years ahead. For love with age increases, And precious are the hours, May peace and love surround you And crown you with life s flowers. ONE ON ONE VISITS There are a few residents in our community that for one reason or another don t come out regularly for activities and social events. Just know that I ll be coming to your room for a quick visit to see how you re doing. Look for One on One s appearing within the calendar. This will be my time to spend with those members of our community. -May, Life Enrichment Director TAKING CARE OF YOUR ACHING KNEES Knee pain is responsible for 1/3 of doctor visits for muscle and bone pain.
