Certificate IV in Emergency Medical Response Course Code: 30714 QLD The 30714 QLD Certificate IV in Emergency Medical Response program is designed for participants wishing to become Emergency Medical Technicians. This course equips participants with advanced medical skills and knowledge. This course is especially suited for first responders, mine rescue, fire fighters, road rescue, remote resort, dive and tour operations, shipʼs masters and security personnel. Occupational title for this role is Emergency Medical Technician. The 30714 QLD Certificate IV in Emergency Medical Response consists of 22 units of competency (19 compulsory and 3 elective units). Transport services of this kind are usually pre-arranged and time of response is not given a high priority in comparison to emergency transport. Clients are those requiring transport and / or care for non acute or chronic illness or disability.
